Welcome to Schwend
Schwend is Skolkan's premier lakeside retreat, a tranquil town nestled on the shores of Lake Kristall. Founded in 1398 as a fishing village, Schwend has evolved into a peaceful haven for those seeking relaxation and water-based recreation. The town's name means "to fade away" in old Skolkanian, reflecting its serene, time-slowing atmosphere.
The pristine lake waters are crystal clear, a relaxing view for any wayward warrior. Schwend is renowned for its sailing regattas, fishing tournaments, and stunning sunsets that paint the sky in shades of amber and rose. The lakeside promenade stretches for 5 kilometers, lined with willow trees and benches perfect for contemplation.
