Welcome to Haasla
Haasla is the bohemian soul of Skolkan, a vibrant city of 32,000 artists, musicians, writers, and dreamers. Founded in 1523, this riverside city became an artistic haven in the 1960s when poets and painters discovered its affordable studios and inspiring atmosphere. Today, colorful murals adorn nearly every building, and street performances happen on every corner.
The city hosts the prestigious Haasla Art Biennale, attracting international artists every two years. Its winding cobblestone streets are lined with galleries, independent bookshops, vintage boutiques, and cozy cafés where creative minds gather to share ideas and inspiration.
